HOW IT ALL STARTED

On the image on the left you can see our Founder, Sahan, transporting some organic spices and desiccated coconut to the airport back in early 2015, at the start of Silk Cooperation’s journey which started in the Garage in 2014 with $1000.

Today, Silk Route Ventures has its own state-of-the-art factory. Next photo is from February of 2022 with 3 containers of machinery just before unloading during factory set up.

Since we began our Journey in 2014 from Sri Lanka, we have been able to extend our supply chains to Key regions which enable us to Source a wide range of products as well as establish ourselves better in key and close market regions to our end Consumers.

Through our highly connected and integrated offices around the globe, we are able to effectively cater to a wide range of Small & medium Customers. Also, this enables us to facilitate our Hassle-free International Trade (HfIT) service. Where we produce / process from either Sri Lanka or Vietnam, import into Australia / USA / UK / EU through our registered entities in those regions and deliver straight away to the Customer, taking out the hassle of International Trade from the shoulders of the Customer!
